The Life of Betty K Dittus

Betty K. (Kramer) Dittus, of Mertztown and formerly of Philadelphia, died on Sunday, October 16, 2016 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the widow of John A. Dittus, who died on August 28, 2015.

Born in Philadelphia, Betty was a daughter of the late Jacob and Jennie (Cohen) Kramer. Mrs. Dittus was Jewish in faith. She was employed for several years by Sears, Philadelphia. Most recently, she was a homemaker. Betty enjoyed solving cryptograms and all sorts of word puzzles.

She is survived by a Son, Richard A. "Rick", husband of Pattie A. (Mikels) Dittus, Mertztown; Son-in-law, James Comose, Pennsauken, NJ, widower of predeceased daughter, Lisa G. (Dittus) Comose, who died on September 25, 2005; 15 Grandchildren, Jena, Ashley, James Michael, Kristen, Tyler, Randy, Brian, Amanda, Taylor, Kylie, Jacob, Jonathan, Travis, Jacob and Kelsey, and one Great-granddaughter, Annabella. In addition to her Husband, John; Parents, Jacob and Jennie; and Daughter, Lisa; Betty was predeceased by a Sister, Lottie, and Brother, Sydney.

Graveside services and interment for both Betty and John will take place on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA, with Reverend Tyrone B. Bowman officiating.

Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
