Bertha was also my bus driver in the Parkland School District. The thankless job she performed with great skill. Not only could Bertha handle that large vehicle, especially on winter days, but she knew how to handle unruly school kids on the bus.Bertha always handed out candies on the certain holidays to each and every child on the bus.Parents should always give thanks to the drivers who get their children to school safely, and i can honestly say,Bertha always did it with a smile! Thanks Bertha!
